KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies Golfer
Mia Rallo has been consecutively voted the MIAA Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance at the Grace Shin Invitational Oct. 2-3, the conference office announced Thursday, Oct. 5.
Rallo, a sophomore from Wentzville, Mo., led the No. 25-ranked Jennies to a dominating team title and defeated all other golfers in a record setting performance to claim individual honors at the Grace Shin Invitational in Edmond, Okla. at the Golf Club of Edmond.Â
Rallo set a program record with her 36-hole total of 140 (-2). The Sophomore finished her first round at 1-under (70), tied for second place going into the second round. Rallo moved up the leaderboard on the second day, matching her first day total of 70 (-1) and finishing the tournament at 2-under par. She posted nine total birdies over the two days with five in her final round.Â

Hayley Jones and
Nicole Rallo followed closely behind, tying for second at 1-under (141). The Jennies shot a combined team score of 4-under (564), winning the tournament by 29-strokes and setting a new 36-hole program record.
Next, the Jennies will be home, hosting the Midwest Classic Oct. 16-17 at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Mo.Â
