BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- No. 25-ranked Central Missouri Jennies Golf closed their fall season with their fourth consecutive tournament win Tuesday, Oct. 24 at The Tulsa Cup at The Club at Forest Ridge. The Jennies combined for a 54-hole total of 873 (+9), claiming the tournament title by 26-strokes. Southwest Oklahoma State earned runner-up honors at 35-over (899) and Rogers State took third at 46-over (910).Â
The Jennies were led by Sophomore
Mia Rallo, who claimed the individual title at 3-under par (213). This is her third individual win this season. In her final round, Rallo shot even par on both nines with two birdies and two bogeys to card a 72.
Her sister, Junior
Nicole Rallo took third place individually at 2-over par (218). The Junior started the day 1-over par through her first nine holes with three bogeys and two birdies. She went on to rally the back nine, firing two more birdies and finishing the day 1-under par (71).Â
Redshirt Senior
Hayley Jones and Freshman
Maya McVey followed closely behind, finishing tied for 5th place at 7-over par (223). In her final round, Jones carded a 74 (+2), including the only eagle among the Jennies, which she made on the ninth hole. McVey copied her second round score in her final round, carding another 76 (+4) for the last day of the tournament.
Senior
Claire Solovic rounded out the Jennies scores, finishing 13th at 11-over (227). Solovic carded three birdies in her final round, playing the front nine at 1-over and the back nine at 2-over. She ended the day 3-over par, posting a 75.
Sophomore
Libby Green and Redshirt Sophomore
Kiki Bruner competed as individuals. Green finished right behind Solovic in 14th place at 13-over par. She carded a 79 (+7) for her final round. Bruner finished tied for 39th at 22-over par, posting a 78 (+6) in her final round.Â
The Tulsa Cup closed out the Jennies fall season and they will return to action in the spring.Â
