DENVER, Colo. – No. 11 Jennies volleyball (3-4) earned a split in their final two matches of the 2022 Colorado Premier Challenge against Azusa Pacific and No. 16 Angelo State.
In match number one against the Cougars, UCM fell by a final of 3-0 (19-25, 14-25, 20-25). Redshirt junior
Olivia Olson had a double-double in the match with 20 assists and 11 digs, plus redshirt junior
Sydney Lierz added seven kills and four assists.
ASU had two double-double performances in the match from Katarina Radisic (15 digs, 13 kills) and Annaka Jorgenson (12 kills, 12 digs). Aubrea Banfield had 28 assists, plus Kyra Palmbush recorded nine kills and three blocks.
In their final match of the weekend, UCM needed a fifth set to outlast No. 16 Angelo State by a final of 3-2 (24-26, 25-17, 25-22, 30-32, 16-14).

Caitlin Peterson called a timeout trailing 10-6 in the fifth, the Jennies went on a 10-3 run to win the set. UCM had a pair of offensive career-highs from redshirt freshman
Jenna Schulte (17 kills) and sophomore
Tiffany Little (14 kills on 30 attempts, .367 attack percentage).

Rylie Barnum led Central Missouri defensively with a match-high 26 digs while junior
Abbi McGee added 15.
Next up for the Jennies is their home opener Wednesday, September 7, against No. 10 Northwest Missouri beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Building.
