SEWARD, Neb. – Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field's Jana Shawver and Jathan Deberry both won their respective events to highlight UCM Track and Field action Friday, May 13, at the Concordia University Twilight Meet.

The Mules and Jennies will head to the Nebraska Kearney Last-Chance Meet Saturday, May 14, in Kearney, Neb., before competing in the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships May 26-28 in Allendale, Mich.

Sprints/Hurdles

• Jana Shawver won the women's 800m run, clocking a personal-best, provisional, and stadium-record time of 2:07.64. Her time ranks second-fastest in school history and ninth best in NCAA-II this season.
• Mariah Elmore ran 2:11.18 to place fourth in the women's 800m. Her time is a provisional mark.
• Jathan Deberry placed first in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 14.58. Andrew Paster finished fifth at 15.16.
• Laia Gonzalez finished runner-up in the women's 400m hurdles with a provisional time of 1:01.43. Her time is ninth-fastest in school history.

Throws

• Rachael Molloy placed second in the women's hammer throw with a provisional mark of 53.78m (176-05.00).

Relays

• The Mules relay team of Michael James, Antonio Lay, Cameron Hesker and Christopher Goodwin finished second in the men's 4x100m relay with a provisional and stadium-record time of 40.80.
• The Jennies relay squad of Camryn Holloman, Lenetta Lee, Grace Wormek and Lucy Steinmeyer placed third in the women's 4x100m relay with a time of 47.47.
