WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Central Missouri Jennies softball ended its 2022 season with an MIAA doubleheader against Missouri Western Sunday, May 1, at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex, dropping game one, 11-2, before faltering in game two, 9-1 in five innings.
The Jennies end their season with an overall record of 17-36, and an MIAA record of 8-18.

Game 1: Missouri Western 11, Central Missouri 2
In the game one loss, the Jennies were held to just five hits, while Missouri Western compiled 12.
MaKenzie Cooper hit her team-high fifth homer of the season, leading the Jennies at the plate in game one.
Wishard (5-7) suffered the setback in the circle after giving up five earned runs on three hits with a strikeout and three walks in 1 1/3 innings.
Liz Vaupel went 3-for-4 with a homer and one RBI, and Emma Hoffart had a three-run home run, pacing the Griffons in game one.
Sydney Rader (16-7) posted the victory in the circle, tossing a seven-inning, complete-game and surrendering two earned runs on only five hits with seven strikeouts and two walks.
Game 2: Missouri Western 9, Central Missouri 1 (5 inn)
In the game two setback, Central Missouri fell behind early, 4-0, and could never recover.
Laney Killpack was 1-for-2 with a double, leading the Jennies offensively in the second contest.
Kyleigh Lay (8-13) took the loss in the second contest, allowing four earned runs on four hits with one strikeout and three walks in 2 2/3 innings.
Kalyn Damgaard went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, while Natalee Weber was 1-for-1 with a homer, leading Missouri Western (27-20, 17-9 MIAA) in game two.
Natalie Kissinger (10-11) was the wining pitcher in game two, giving up just five hits and one earned run with no strikeouts and no walks in a five-inning, complete-game.
