AUSTIN, Texas – Central Missouri Mules track and field senior Christopher Goodwin finished eighth in the men's long jump Saturday, March 26, at the 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus.

Goodwin, who hails from Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand, opened his 2022 outdoor season with a jump of 7.64m (25-0.75) on his third attempt for the eighth-place finish in a field of primarily NCAA Division I student-athletes. His mark is the best in NCAA Division II so far this season and ranks fifth-best in school history.

Mules and Jennies track and field is slated to return to action Friday, April 1, at the Washington University Distance Carnival in St. Louis, Mo.
