- No. 24-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball (5-0, 2-0 MIAA) is scheduled to host the Lincoln Blue Tigers (1-7, 0-3 MIAA) in a rare Sunday afternoon MIAA tussle Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building before taking to the road for a conference showdown at No. 4-ranked Missouri Southern (10-0, 3-0 MIAA) Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Joplin, Mo., at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
- UCM is coming off a pair of home MIAA victories last week, defeating Central Oklahoma Dec. 1, 83-65, and Newman Dec. 3, 83-38.
- Through five games, the Jennies are paced by redshirt sophomores Brooke Littrell (19.2 ppg., 6.4 rpg., .594 FG%, .778 FT%), Olivia Nelson (13.0 ppg., 2.6 rpg., .578 FG%, .500 3FG%, 26 A, 9 Stl) and Lauren Frost (10.4 ppg., 5.4 rpg., .468 FG%, 23 A, 8 Stl).
- As a team, UCM is averaging 82.4 points and 44.6 rebounds per game and shooting 52 percent from the field while holding its opponents to 53.4 points and 32 rebounds per game and a 33 percent field-goal percentage.
- The Jennies lead all of NCAA Division II in field-goal percentage through five games at 52 percent. UCM has converted 164 out of 318 shot attempts going into Sunday's game.

- Redshirt sophomore Brooke Littrell scored her 1,000th career point as the No. 23-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball team rolled to an 83-38 victory over the Newman Jets in a MIAA contest Saturday afternoon, Dec. 3, inside the Multipurpose Building.
- Littrell, who wears number 30 on her jersey, became the 30th member of the 1,000-Point Club for UCM women's basketball after converting a three-pointer with 6:32 to go in the first quarter. She finished the game with a team-high 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the floor to up her career total to 1,012.
- Lauren Frost (13 points) and Kade Hackerott (11 points) also scored in double digits for the Jennies while Ashley Tull pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds, including seven offensive boards. Frost and Olivia Nelson each dished out a game-best six assists, respectively.
- UCM shot a sizzling 54 percent from the field for the game, going 33-for-61, and were 52 percent from three-point range, converting 12 of 23 treys.
- Central Missouri dominated the glass, outrebounding Newman (4-3, 1-1 MIAA), 43-23, and outscored the Jets off turnovers, 23-4.
- The 38 points scored by Newman were the fewest allowed by the Jennies since limiting Evangel to 30 points in 2017-18.
Last Time Out vs. Lincoln
- Nija Collier and Brooke Littrell both scored 28 points to lead Central Missouri Jennies Basketball to an 82-62 victory over the Lincoln Blue Tigers Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, inside Jason Gymnasium in the final game of the regular season for both teams.
- Collier went 10-for-22 from the field and 8-of-11 at the free-throw line for her game-high-tying 28 points and added a game-best 15 rebounds for her team-high 17th double-double of the season while Littrell netted her 28 points on 11-for-19 shooting and a 5-of-6 performance the foul line.
- Charley Bovaird (12 points) and Olivia Nelson (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Jennies, with Nelson dishing out a team-best five assists.
- Central Missouri led 34-24 through the opening 20 minutes of the game before outscoring Lincoln, 26-13, in the third quarter to go up 60-37 and never look back.
- For the game, UCM shot 48 percent (29-of-60) from the field, 53 percent (8-of-15) from three-point range and were 16-of-23 at the free-throw line for 70 percent.
- The Jennies dominated in the glass, outrebounding the Blue Tigers, 50-28, including a 17-10 edge in offensive rebounds. UCM outscored Lincoln in the paint, 42-34, and 13-5 on second-chance points.
Last Time Out vs. Missouri Southern
- Central Missouri Jennies basketball posted a commanding 42-26 rebounding advantage but couldn't overcome 17 turnovers in a 66-61 loss to the Missouri Southern Lions Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, inside the Multipurpose Building.
- Olivia Nelson tallied 20 points to lead Central Missouri while Nija Collier (14 points, game-high 15 rebounds) and Brooke Littrell (13 points, 11 rebounds) both had double-doubles. It was Collier's 14th double-double of the season and Littrell's 12th.
- In addition to her game-best 15 rebounds, Collier tied her career-high with six blocks while Nelson dished out a team-high five assists.
- The Jennies were held to just 38 percent shooting from the floor and 33 percent from three-point range. UCM went 14-of-18 at the free-throw line for 78 percent.
- Missouri Southern outscored Central Missouri in the paint, 24-18, and off turnovers, 11-6.
- The Lions went 43 percent from the floor and 52 percent from beyond-the-arc in the contest and made 5-of-7 free throws for 71 percent.
- Lacy Stokes led all scorers in the game with 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting and a 3-for-5 showing at the free-throw line.
Individual Milestones
- Brooke Littrell became the 30th student-athlete in UCM Women's Basketball history to score at least 1,000 career points after converting a three-pointer with 6:32 to go in the first quarter in the Jennies' win over Newman Dec. 3.
- Olivia Nelson is 184 points shy of 1,000 for her Central Missouri career. Going into Sunday's game, she sits at 816 career points.

- UCM is ranked No. 24 in the most recent WBCA Division II Coaches' Poll and 15th in the latest D2SIDA Division II Media Poll.
- Central Missouri was picked third in the 2022-23 MIAA Preseason Media Poll and fifth in the Preseason Coaches' Poll. UCM received three first-place votes and 218 points in the media poll and 127 points in the coaches' poll.
