WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (4-3, 0-1) fell to the No. 7 Central Oklahoma Bronchos (6-0, 1-0) by a final score of 64-58 on Thursday, Dec. 1, inside the Multipurpose Building.
The Mules led by as many as nine points in the first half and carried a two-point lead into the half, but thanks to Jaden Wells' game-high 22 points helped the Bronchos come away with the road victory.
UCM out-shot Central Oklahoma by a slim margin of 41.5 to 41.1 percent and 36.4 to 27.3 percent from beyond the arc. The Mules were led by guard
Mikel Henderson's 19 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals while
Trey Sides recorded nine points including three made shots from three-point.
Forward
Gaven Pinkley recorded a game-high nine rebounds while contributing seven points, and one steal respectively. Sophomore
Jack Chapman came off the bench adding nine points, plus forward
Ben Fritz recorded six rebounds and four points.
The Mules return to the court on Saturday, Dec. 3, as they host the Newman Jets inside the Multipurpose Building with tip-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
