HAYS, Kan. – The third-ranked Fort Hays State Tigers outscored Central Missouri Jennies basketball in the third quarter, 29-13, and never looked back as the Tigers defeated the Jennies, 84-59, Thursday, Jan. 6, inside Gross Memorial Coliseum.
The Jennies (9-6, 5-3 MIAA) are scheduled to travel to No. 9 Nebraska Kearney for an MIAA game Saturday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in Kearney, Neb.

Brooke Littrell scored a game-high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting and a 3-for-3 performance at the free-throw line while redshirt senior
Nija Collier tallied 17 points and snagged seven rebounds, leading Central Missouri.
The Jennies outshot the Tigers (12-1, 6-1 MIAA) in the game, 51 percent to 50 percent, but turned the ball over a season-high 25 times which led to 28 Fort Hays State points.
The Tigers also outscored the Jennies in the paint, 30-26, and outrebounded UCM, 29-23.
Katie Wagner scored 16 points to pace five Fort Hays State players in double figures in the game.
