• Seventh-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball is scheduled to continue MIAA action with a road match at Emporia State Thursday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. inside White Auditorium before returning home to the UCM Multipurpose Building for a showdown against No. 1-ranked Washburn Saturday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m.
• Central Missouri is coming off a 2-0 start to MIAA play last week, sweeping Missouri Western, 3-0, in Warrensburg Sept. 14 before sweeping then No. 12-ranked Northwest Missouri Sept. 17 in Maryville, Mo.

Last Time Out
• Audrey Fisher and Kersti Nix had eight kills each and Hannah Engelken tallied seven kills and four blocks leading No. 7 University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball to a 3-0 sweep at No. 12 Northwest Missouri State Friday, Sept. 17, inside Hughes Fieldhouse. The set scores were 25-14, 25-20 and 25-18.
• Fisher compiled eight kills on 16 attempts with just one error for a team-best .438 hitting percentage while Nix had eight kills on a team-high 22 swings with a pair of errors for .273 hitting and had one block solo and three block assists. Engelken compiled her seven kills on 16 attempts with only one miscue for a .375 hitting percentage.
• Ally Offerdahl added a match-high 20 assists, and Jackie Storm had a match and career-best three service aces. Rylie Barnum tallied a match-high 19 digs, respectively.
• Central Missouri limited Northwest Missouri to just .061 hitting for the match, marking the fourth time this season it held an opponent under .100 hitting, while posting a .252 attacking percentage of its own. UCM compiled advantages in kills (39-29), assists (31-26), total blocks (7-3) and digs (61-46).

Jennies in the MIAA Statistics
• Entering the week, the Jennies rank first in the MIAA in opponent hitting percentage (.116), third in blocks (2.30 per set) and digs (18.33 per set), fourth in assists (12.79 per set) and fifth in hitting percentage (.246).
• Individually, Hannah Engelken is the MIAA leader in blocks through 10 matches, averaging 1.39 blocks per set with 46 total blocks, while Ally Offerdahl is third in assists with 10.27 assists per set on 339 total assists. Audrey Fisher is fourth in hitting percentage at .353, and Kersti Nix is fifth in kills with 3.55 kills per set.

Individual Milestones
• Ally Offerdahl is eighth in program history in career assists with 4,293 going into Thursday's match at Emporia State.
• Audrey Fisher reached 300 career blocks with her two blocks (one block solo, one block assist) at No. 12 Northwest Missouri Sept. 17.
• Fisher is currently 10th in career hitting percentage at .340 in 394 career sets played. She's just one point shy of moving up to ninth.
• Hannah Engelken is six blocks shy of reaching 300 in her UCM career.

.300 or Better
• Under Coach Piontek, Central Missouri 121-0 when they hit at least .300. While it hasn't happened often under Piontek, UCM is just 3-14 when surrendering a .300 attack percentage to their opponent. The Jennies hit better than .300 in 10 matches in 2019.

UCM in the Polls
• The Jennies are one of four MIAA volleyball teams in the latest AVCA Top-25 Coaches' Poll released Sept. 20. Washburn is this week's number one team, while Nebraska Kearney is fourth, UCM seventh and Northwest Missouri 13th.
• In the MIAA preseason poll, the Jens were picked to finish fourth behind Nebraska-Kearney, Washburn and Northwest Missouri. They finished with 75 points.

Experience Throughout the Lineup
• Central Missouri welcomes back five of its starters from the 2019 team that posted an overall record of 23-10 and finished third in the MIAA at 15-5.
• The Jennies return six All-MIAA honorees from 2019 in 2021, including middle blockers Audrey Fisher (first team) and Hannah Engelken (honorable mention), outside hitters Sydney Lierz (first team), Aubree Bell (honorable mention) and Hannah VanBuskirk (honorable mention), and setter Ally Offerdahl (first team). Lierz was also the 2019 MIAA Freshman of the Year, while Engelken was the 2018 Freshman of the Year.

Welcome to Warrensburg!
• UCM welcomes four newcomers to the team in 2021 in freshmen Grace Winkelmann (Rhineland, Mo.), Tiffany Little (Parker, Colo.), Arley Anderson (Kansas City, Mo.) and Justine Bichelmeyer (Shawnee, Kan.). Winkelmann is the younger sister of former Jennies basketball and volleyball standout Shelby Winkelmann (2012-15).
