SCENE SETTER
• No. 18 University of Central Missouri Jennies soccer is scheduled to host the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats on Friday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg, Mo., before traveling to Missouri Southern in Joplin, Mo., on Sunday Sept. 19 at 2 p.m.
• The Jennies won a 4-3 thriller against Minnesota State in their 2021 home opener Sept. 10, prior to falling to then No. 3-ranked Grand Valley State, 3-0, Sept. 12.
Sydney Leslie netted two of UCM's goals against Minnesota State, while Isa Yanes and Ashleigh Martin each tallied one vs. the Mavericks. Martin netted the game-winner for the Jennies in the 89th-minute. Jordan Austin and Martin each had an assist in the contest, respectively
• The Jennies are ranked 18th in latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25-Poll announced on Sept. 14. 2021.

SERIES HISTORY
Northwest Missouri: UCM leads 32-3-4 against Northwest Missouri
Last meeting: The Jennies and the Bearcats met twice in 2019 in Warrensburg, with UCM defeating Northwest Missouri, 3-1, in game one and 4-0 in the second meeting.

Missouri Southern: UCM leads 23-8-3 against Missouri Southern.
Last Meeting: The Jennies and the Lions met twice in 2019 in Warrensburg with UCM winning both meetings, 6-1 and 2-1.
