Scene Setter
• The second-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball team is slated to host a pair of home matches at the UCM Multipurpose Building Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. vs. No. 3 Northwest Missouri State and Thursday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. vs. Missouri Southern, before traveling to Pittsburg, Kan., to take on Pittsburg State to close out the week on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m.
• Central Missouri is coming off a perfect 3-0 week. The Jennies won at Missouri Western Oct. 19 in St. Joseph, Mo., in five sets, 3-2, before handing then No. 2-ranked Washburn its first home loss of the season, 3-1, Oct. 21 in Topeka, Kan., and sweeping Emporia State, 3-0, at home Oct. 23.

Last Time Out
•  Third-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball celebrated 2021 UCM Homecoming by putting on a block party at the Multipurpose Building, tallying 13 blocks in a 3-0 sweep of the Emporia State Hornets Saturday, Oct. 23. The set scores were 25-9, 25-10 and 25-18.
• Audrey Fisher posted a match-high 11 kills on 20 attempts with no errors for a sizzling .550 attacking percentage and had two block solos and five block assists for a match-best seven blocks, while Ally Offerdahl dished out a match-high 22 assists and made a pair of block assists.
• Aubree Bell tallied a match-best three service aces and had a pair of block assists, and Rylie Barnum added a team-high 13 digs, rounding out UCM leaders in the contest.
• Hannah Engelken, Kersti Nix, Hannah VanBuskirk and Sydney Lierz all had at least one block in the match.
• The Jennies outhit the Hornets in the one-hour, 11-minute match, .283 to .010, and held ESU to negative hitting in two of the three sets.
• In addition to its 13-2 blocking advantage, UCM also bested Emporia State in kills (38-23), service aces (8-1), assists (35-21) and digs (52-45).

Jennies Sweep MIAA Athlete of the Week Honors
• Jennies volleyball swept the MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 18-24, as Ally Offerdahl was named Co-Setter of the Week, Audrey Fisher received Offensive Athlete of the Week honors, and Rylie Barnum was voted the Defensive Athlete of the Week.
• Offerdahl averaged a team-best 9.58 assists per set with 115 total assists on 310 attempts and a .371 setting percentage in UCM's three victories at Missouri Western and at No. 2 Washburn, and at home vs. Emporia State during the previous week.
• Fisher led Central Missouri offensively in its three victories, averaging a team-best 3.08 kills per set with 37 kills on 78 attempts and just six errors for a .397 hitting percentage. She added four service aces, eight digs and 13 total blocks with four block solos and nine block assists in her three matches on the week.
• Barnum was the leader for Central Missouri defensively in its three wins on the week, averaging a team-best 5.25 digs per set with 63 total digs on 67 receptions. She also had eight assists and a service ace.

Jennies in the MIAA Statistics
• Entering the week, the Jennies lead the MIAA in blocks (2.28 per set), rank second in opponent hitting percentage (.140), digs (18.60 per set) and hitting percentage (.250), fourth in assists (12.85 per set) and kills (14.00 per set), and sixth in service aces (1.53 per set).
• Individually, Hannah Engelken is third in the MIAA in blocks, averaging 1.08 blocks per set with 81 total blocks and eighth in hitting percentage at .319, while Ally Offerdahl is fifth in assists with 9.53 assists per set on 715 total assists. Audrey Fisher is fourth in hitting percentage at .356, fifth in blocks at 0.97 per set with 73 total blocks, and 10th in kills with 3.13 per set, and Kersti Nix is ninth in hitting percentage at .303 and 11th in kills with 3.11 per set. Rylie Barnum is fifth in digs with 362 digs and 4.89 digs per set, and Aubree Bell is sixth in service aces with 0.35 per set and 24 total service aces.

Individual Milestones
• Ally Offerdahl is sixth in program history in career assists with 4,669 and fourth in career assists per set at 10.71 entering the week.
• In the latest NCAA Division II national statistics, Offerdahl is third in the Division II active career leaders assists list with her 4,669 career assists.
• Fisher is currently ninth in career hitting percentage at .342 in 436 career sets played. She's just one point shy of moving up to eighth.

.300 or Better
• Under Coach Piontek, Central Missouri 123-0 when they hit at least .300. While it hasn't happened often under Piontek, UCM is just 3-14 when surrendering a .300 attack percentage to their opponent. The Jennies have hit .300 or better in three matches this season.

UCM in the Polls
• The Jennies moved up one spot to No. 2 in the latest AVCA Division II Coaches' Poll released Monday, Oct. 25. It marks UCM's highest ranking since being tabbed second during the 2011 season. Three fellow MIAA programs are ranked in the latest poll, including two in the top-five with Northwest Missouri at No. 3 and Washburn at No. 4. Nebraska Kearney is tied for 15th, respectively.
• In the MIAA preseason poll, the Jens were picked to finish fourth behind Nebraska-Kearney, Washburn and Northwest Missouri. They finished with 75 points.

Experience Throughout the Lineup
• Central Missouri welcomes back five of its starters from the 2019 team that posted an overall record of 23-10 and finished third in the MIAA at 15-5.
• The Jennies return six All-MIAA honorees from 2019 in 2021, including middle blockers Audrey Fisher (first team) and Hannah Engelken (honorable mention), outside hitters Sydney Lierz (first team), Aubree Bell (honorable mention) and Hannah VanBuskirk (honorable mention), and setter Ally Offerdahl (first team). Lierz was also the 2019 MIAA Freshman of the Year, while Engelken was the 2018 Freshman of the Year.

Welcome to Warrensburg!
• UCM welcomes four newcomers to the team in 2021 in freshmen Grace Winkelmann (Rhineland, Mo.), Tiffany Little (Parker, Colo.), Arley Anderson (Kansas City, Mo.) and Justine Bichelmeyer (Shawnee, Kan.). Winkelmann is the younger sister of former Jennies basketball and volleyball standout Shelby Winkelmann (2012-15).
