Track and Field Gets Set For First Home Meet

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Jan. 21, 2021) - Central Missouri Track and Field is hosting their first meet tomorrow afternoon and evening in the UCM Multipurpose Building.

What: UCM Invitational

Where: Warrensburg, Mo. - UCM Multipurpose Building

When: Friday, Jan. 22 - Field events 2:30 p.m., Track events 6 p.m.

Who: Central Missouri, Emporia State, Harding, Lincoln, Lindenwood, Missouri Southern, Southwest Baptist

How to Watch: Two live streams of the event will be set up. The first, through the team facebook page, www.facebook.com/centralmissouri.track will show the west end of the building will have the throwing and pole vaulting events and the second, on the UCM Instagram page, @UCMTF will feature the east end of the building with the jumps and finish line of the track. 

Meet Notes
• Central Missouri had their first full team meet last weekend at the Washburn MIAA Rust Buster.
• Currently the Jennies have nine and the Mules seven NCAA qualifying marks.
• The MIAA preseason coaches poll picked the Jennies to finish third and the Mules fourth in the MIAA this season.
• Trey Miller and Hannah VanBuskirk were each selected as the first MIAA Field Athletes of the Week. They both lead the country currently in the multi events.

• No spectators will be allowed in the building for the meet.
