KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (Feb. 6, 2019) - Mules Wrestling left it all on the mat in Kirksville as they captured their first road victory.
Justin Mitchell set the tone for the Mules taking the 125 weight class due to forfeit.
John Feeney had competed well today, falling to Zach Williard by decision 10-9. The Mules next win came from
Dakota Thevel at 141-pounds by fall over Caleb Osborn at 4:25.
Daide Agnew stepped on the mat at 149-pounds and added more points to the board via forfeit.
The Mules weren't done yey,
Austin Morgan raked up five points at 157-pounds defeating Nathan Wutherlick by technical fall 17-0.
Cole Hatfield put up a fight at 164-pounds falling short by decision 5-4. Truman took the 174 and 197-pound matches. But Central had two more wins in them.
Dominique Hampton (184) and
Chase Miller (285) both added six points each to the board due to forfeit.
Grapplers are back on the mat Feb. 8 at the Drury Duals in Springfield, Mo. where they will go head to head with three different teams.
