EDMOND, Okla. (Feb. 2, 2019) -  UCM dominated in Edmond for. 97% of the game to defeat the Bronchos for an 80-50 win, improving to 15-4 this season and 8-3 in the MIAA.
How it Happened
• The Jens shot the ball particularly well with UCM hitting on 50% of their field goals compared to the Bronchos 32%. Central Missouri was also hot from behind the arc shooting 43% to the Bronchos 7%. 
• The two teams battled down low, but UCM outscored UCO in the paint 28-22.
•  The Bronchos forced 15 turnovers with 10 steals and scored 11 points off those turnovers.
• The Jens won the rebounding battle, 40-33.
• The Jennies came out ready to play. 
Sydney Crockett, 
Morgan Fleming, and 
Peyton Taylor were the only Jennies to score in the first quarter. Crockett went 3-4 from behind the arc,  Fleming 3-4 from the field, and Taylor 2-2 from the free-throw line to lead the Bronchos 18-15.
• UCM kept the high energy in the second moving the ball around and finding ways to score going 10-15 from the field and 6-10 from behind the arc. 
Sydney Crockett was hot from the three after two-quarters of action she shot  4-6 leading the Jens with 14 going into the break. UCM took their first largest lead of the first half with 0:30 remaining after a three-pointer from 
Morgan Fleming to lead 44-26. The Bronchos would score one last time before the quarter ended to set the score 44-28 headed into the break. 
• Coming out of the break, the Jens held the Bronchos scoreless for 6:42 of the third quarter to go on a 14-0 run leaving the score 58-28.
• Central Missouri led by double-digits for much of the remainder of the game. 
Meghan Allen's layup late in the fourth quarter gave the Jens their largest lead by 32-points.
It Was Over When...
• Once the Jennies took their largest lead of the game with 0:49 seconds remaining in regulation after a layup form 
Meghan Allen to set the score 80-48. 
Jennies Stat Leaders
• 
Sydney Crockett led the Jennies in double-figures with 19 points and was 7-10 from the floor and 4-7 from behind the arc.
• 
Morgan Fleming was next up with 17 points, nine rebounds, and a team-high of six assists. 
• 
Peyton Taylor brought the fire off the bench with 14 points and two steals.
• 
Megan Skaggs finished with 11 points and 
Paige Redmond added nine points and added a team high of 10 rebounds.
For the Bronchos
• Megan Hartness scored a team-high 12 points and was 5-9 from the field.
• McKenna Pulley and Micayla Haynes each scored eight points.
