WARRENSBURG, Mo. (September 28, 2018)-- Jennies Soccer improved their record to 2-0 in the MIAA and 8-1-0 overall after defeating Southwest Baptist 3-1.
How It Happened
• The Bearcats were quick to score in just the third-minute Tessa Wagner put the Bearcats on the board 1-0.

Jada Scott had an answer in the 13th minute and put the Jens on the board with an assist from
Makayla Toth.
• In the 34th minute a handball resulted in a penalty-kick, senior
Jada Scott took the kick for the Jennies and improved their lead 2-1.
• With the second half of play underway,
Makayla Martin comes down in the 54th minute with a header assisted my
Haley Freeman for the final goal of the game leaving the score 3-1 for a Jennies win.
• The Jennies outshot the Bearcats 24-16.
