Weatherford, Ok. (August 30, 2018)—No. 1 Jennies Soccer team defeated No. 17 Southwestern Oklahoma State 3-2 in the 2018 season opener.
How It Happened
• It took some time for the Jennies to get on the board as the Bulldogs scored first, in the 27
th minute leading the Jens 1-0 with a goal by Alimata Rabo.
• SWOSU came back after the half with a goal by Memory Phiri at the 46
th minute mark to extend their lead 2-0.
• The Jennies finally get on the board in the second half when
Courtney Killian scored in the 57
th minute leaving the score 2-1.
• Just two minutes later, sophomore
Makayla Toth scores a goal in the 59
th minute to tie the game 2-2.
• In the 70
th minute All-American
Jada Scott scored the Jennies third and final goal leaving the final score 3-2.
• For the game, SWOSU outshot UCM 14-12 overall and UCM lead in shots on goal 8-5.

Courtney Killian scored one goal, and finished with four shots and two shots on goal.

• Alimate Rabo led the Bulldogs in shots with six, while adding six shots on goal. She also scored one goal for SWOSU.
• Memory Phiri added one goal for the Bulldogs, two shots and one shot on goal.
