Mules Blank Huskies at NCAA Regional

MAGNOLIA, Ark. (May 18, 2018) - Another day, another 10 run performance for the Central Missouri Mules Baseball team. The Mules put up 15 runs and held the Huskies off the scoreboard in their 15-0 win, improving to 2-0 at the NCAA Central Region Tournament and 39-15 this season.

Play-by-Play
• The Mules scored at least two runs in each of the first four innings and one in each of the first six. The game started with Mason Janvrin doubling down the right field line. He came around to score on Travis Able's singled up the middle. Two batters later, Justin Graff-Rowe brought Able home after a 10-pitch at bat, culminating with a single up the middle. Harrison Schnurbusch brought in the inning's third run with a sacrifice fly to center as Collin Nevil crossed the plate.
• The next inning it was one swing of the bat that scored three runs. With two outs, Collin Nevil launched one way over the fence in center field for a three-run blast, making it 6-0.
• Central Missouri bettered their first two innings with a four-run third. After Graff-Rowe walked, Schnurbusch doubled down the left field line to score him. He then came around to score himself after stealing third base and the throw from the catcher sailed into the outfield. The final two runs came on back-to-back triples from Webb and Able and the Mules lead 10-0 after three.
• In the fourth, it was another error by the catcher, this time scoring Schnurbusch and Graff-Rowe.
• Nevil picked up RBI number four for the game with a long double to left center to score Webb in the fifth.
• UCM added the extra point on their second touchdown in the sixth as Schnurbusch and Donovan Ditto whacked back-to-back doubles.
• Janvrin plated the Mules final run with an RBI single to center to score Ditto.
