• Central Missouri Mules Wrestling is home for their final dual of the regular season as they host in-region foe Drury on Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the UCM Multipurpose Building. Mat action gets started at 7 p.m.
• The Mules will look to end a nine-dual losing streak when they host the Panthers. Their last dual win came back on Jan. 9, 24-20, against the Newman Jets on the road.
• Since the start of the New Year, UCM has battled in 13 duals, with eight coming against top-25 opponents.
• UCM competed in three duals and one tournament this past week. UCM dropped contests against No. 6 McKendree, No. 20 Lindenwood, and Fort Hays State.
• Eight grapplers competed at the Missouri Valley College Open this past weekend.
Chase Miller led the way placing fifth at 285 pounds with a 4-2 record.

Daide Agnew (133) and
Dakota Huss (157) both went 2-2 at the MVC Open, but fell just one match shy of placing in their respective weight classes.
• The Mules competition will be in the postseason as they will compete at the MIAA Championships in Wichita, Kan. on Feb. 11 at Newman University.

Central Missouri vs. Drury: 1-0-0
The Mules and Panthers will meet for just the second time ever as the Panthers inaguaral season was in 2016-17. Drury fell to UCM in its first ever hoem dual by final score of 25-24 after a tie. The Mules grabbed the win on point criteria.
Scouting The Competition
Drury
• The Panthers enter their midweek matchup against the Mules with a 2-10 overall dual record and a 1-5 mark against GLVC opponents.
• Drury was picked to finish in a tie for fourth with Wisconsin-Parkside in the GLVC Preseason Coaches' Poll. They totaled 18 points in the poll and were picked ahead of Bellarmine and Truman State.
• The Panthers have a few wrestlers with .500 or better records this season. 157 pound grappler Ben Stahlman leads the way in wins for the Panthers with a 21-13 record. Heavyweight Ben Melton has the second most wins with a 17-13 record.
• Other projected starters for Drury with winning records are 174 pounder Jacob Brune at 14-7 and 184 pounder John Oss at 14-8.
• The Panthers have one dual left in the regular season after taking on the Mules. Following that dual, they will take on Ouachita Baptist in the home and regular season finale. Drury's two dual wins this year are against University of the Ozarks and Truman State.
