WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Oct. 5, 2018) - No. 16 Central Missouri Jennies Volleyball won their fourth straight match 3-0 over Fort Hays State (25-17, 25-23, 25-13). The win puts UCM at 16-4 this season and 6-2 in the MIAA.

• Fort Hays scored the first two points of the match, but the Jennies answered right away with four straight to take a lead and never looked back. The Jennies went on a 7-0 run in the middle of the frame, turning a 14-10 set, to 21-10 in the blink of an eye.
Aubree Bell had two service aces and
Audrey Fisher landed two kills in the run. The Tigers got back to within six, 23-17, but that's as close as they came and kills from
Kylie Hohlen and Bell ended the set, 25-17.
• The second set was back-and-forth from the outset. The set saw 20 ties and nine lead changes and neither team held more than a two-point lead at any point in the set. Trailing 23-22, the Jennies scored three straight to end it with kills from Hohlen and Bell and a FHSU attack error.
Audrey Fisher had six kills on nine attempts in the set.
• That second set seemed to take all the wind out of FHSU sails as set three was all UCM. The Jennies raced out to a 7-1 lead, forcing a Tiger timeout and held on big from there.
