WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Oct. 31, 2018) - Central Missouri Soccer shutout Lindenwood in the first round of the MIAA Tournament. The Jennies are now preparing for the semi-finals and improve to 15-3-1 overall.
How it Happened
• The Jens were the first and last to score in the first half of play.
• In the 10th minute of play,
Makayla Toth gave the Jennies the upper hand running left side to find the net and give the Jennies a 1-0 lead.
• Starting the second half leading 1-0,
Jada Scott broke the silence in the 46th minute when she broke away and dribbled up the middle of the field for another Jennies goal extending their lead.
• With the Jennies leading 2-0,
Kelsey Mueller found
Jada Scott for the header in the 51st minute that hit right in the middle of the net to lead 3-0.
• The Jens cliched the win in the 83rd minute when freshman
Payge Bush scored the final goal to give UCM the victory 4-0.
