Washburn answered right away though with a 7-0 stretch for a four-point lead, 13-9. The Jennies were able to tie and take the lead back, 17-16 following four straight points of their own. That's when Washburn scored four straight to take a 21-18 lead. The lead didn't last though with UCM scoring five straight, getting back on top, 23-21.
