KEARNEY, Neb. (Sept. 29, 2017)-- Third-ranked Central Missouri Jennies Soccer (9-0-0, 2-0-0 MIAA) put up four goals as they dominated the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (3-4-2, 0-2-0) 4-0 on the road Friday night.
How it Happened
• The Jennies scored two goals in each period and never allowed the Lopers any chance at staying in the game as they outshot them 10-2 overall and 8-1 in shots on goal in the first period.

Abby Rhodes got UCM on the board in the seventh minute thanks to an assist by
Jada Scott. Rhodes scored on a break away pass from Scott to give the Jennies a 1-0 lead.

Makayla Toth pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 14th minute. She handled a pinpoint pass from midfield by
Kayla Hamner and scored on an empty net as the goalkeeper missed grabbing the ball in open field.
• The Jennies continued to own the game in the second period as Scott pushed the lead to 3-0 in the 50th minute. She hit an empty net from 20 yards out as the goalkeeper missed on a play for the ball outside the box.

Haley Freeman added the final goal in the 71st minute thanks to another midfield pass from Hamner. Freeman got inside right of the box and hit her shot to the left side where the ball caught the post and rolled in for the goal.
• The Jennies took 12 more shots in the second period and finished game outshooting the Lopers 22-4 overall with a 14-2 shots on goal advantage.Â
Jennies Stat Leaders
• Scott took the role of offensive leader totaling three points on one goal and one assist. She finished the night with six total shots, three of which were on goal.
• Hamner was not far behind Scott, finishing with two points on two assists while taking one shot.
• Rhodes, Freeman, and Toth each finished with two points on a goal scored, respectively.

Ana Dilkes grabbed two saves in four shots faced to post her ninth straight shutout, which ties her single season record.
• Defensively, the Jennies put on their best performance of the season as they held the Lopers to just four total shots and two shots on goal. UCM also tied its program record for consecutive shutouts with nine.
For the Lopers
• Carly Brown was the only player for the Nebraska-Kearney to get off more than one shot against the Jennies. She had two shots overall with one being on goal.
• Goalkeeper Ali Hirschman grabbed 10 saves in 21 shots faced while allowing four goals.
News and Notes
• The Jennies have now scored a goal in 42 straight games, which is an MIAA record.
• Friday night's win is the 75th career road win for Head Coach
Lewis Theobald. He is now 75-15-10 all-time in road games at UCM.
