Opening Kick
• Central Missouri Jennies Soccer will look to win their first ever National Championship this Saturday, Dec. 2, at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo. UCM defeated No. 17 Mercy College 3-0 in the NCAA Final Four to advance to the National Finals.
• Waiting for the Jennies is the No. 2 overall ranked team in the country in the Carson-Newman Eagles. The Eagles are 21-0-1 entering the National Championship game and will look to win their first ever National Title as well.
• The Jennies Final Four game was their first ever in program history and they made it count as they shutout the Mercy Mavericks to advance. The Jennies shutout was their 21st of the season.
• Fans attending the National Championship game are invited to a
pregame tailgate in the southwest corner parking lot by Field #5. Snacks and light refreshments will be served. In addition, the first 100 students that attend the tailgate as well will get a free ticket to the game courtesy of UCM President Dr. Charles Ambrose.

• The game will be webcast online through the NCAA's Internet portal at http://www.ncaa.com/live. Live Stats will also be provided through as well.
• The National Championship game will be Free-To-View for fans on their desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile device. Viewers using their tablet and mobile device can download the "NCAA Sports" app to view the game, follow live stats, and play-by-play.
Series History
Carson-Newman: Never Met
The Jennies and Eagles will meet for the first time ever on the soccer pitch. Overall, the Eagles have an all-time program record 298-193-29 in the programs 27 seasons entering this weekend. The Jennies are 309-127-30 in their 23rd season of NCAA competition. The Eagles are in their 10th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament while the Jennies are in their 11th overall appearance.
Scouting the Competition
Carson-Newman
• The Eagles are 21-0-1 entering the National Championship and are ranked No. 2 in the country behind the Central Missouri Jennies. The two teams are a combined 46-0-1 entering the final game of the 2017 season.
• Carson-Newman is made its third appearance overall in the Final Four and first since 2005. They will look to win their first NCAA Championship just like the Jennies.
• The Eagles took down the Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions 2-1 to advance to the National Championship.
• Lauren Wade leads the offensive attack for the Eagles with 47 points this season on 17 goals and 13 assists. Wade was named the Southeast Region Player of the Year by United Soccer Coaches.
• Going step for step with Wade is Magda Mosengo with 47 points on 17 goals scored and 13 assists. Wade and Mosengo are two of six total eagles that have put up double figure points this season.
• As a team, Carson-Newman has scored 71 goals this season and averaging 3.23 goals per game which fourth in Division II behind UCM.
• Defensively, Carson-Newman has allowed 11 goals this season and have a .490 goals against average which is ninth best in Division II this season.
• In net, Jacqueline Burns has started all 22 games for the Eagles and is 20-0-1. She has posted 11 shutouts and has a .887 save percentage average.
The Best Defense is a Good Offense
• The Jennies 88 goals scored this season ranks them in the top five in Division II in total goals at second.
• The Jennies are averaging 3.52 goals per game this season which ranks third in Division II in scoring offense.
• UCM's 45 assists this season are the most in the MIAA and is tied for 10th most in Division II.
• With 221 points total on 88 goals scored and 45 assists, the Jennies are third in Division II in total points.
• In 24 games this season, UCM outscored opponents 88-4 with a 538-204 shots advantage.
Numbers Never Lie
• The Jennies posted 21 shutouts in 25 of their wins this season and their four goals allowed is the least allowed in Division II this season.
• The Jennies all-around defense in shutouts (21), shutout percentage (.875), goals-against average (.160), and save percentage (.956) leads all of Division II this season.
• The Jennies are only team in Division II that has allowed just four goals this season. The Jennies four goals allowed is least allowed in the MIAA. Their 21 shutouts and 25 wins are the most in a single season in UCM History
One for the Record Books
• The 2017 squad is the first team in program history and MIAA history to post 12 consecutive shutouts.
• UCM was just the fourth team in NCAA Division II history to post 12 consecutive shutouts
• Dating back to the 2015 season, UCM has scored a goal in 58 straight games which is both a UCM and MIAA record.

Ana Dilkes is the only goalkeeper in MIAA history to post 12 consecutive shutouts. She is the all-time Division II leader in career shutouts with 63.
• The Jennies are 25-0-0 for the first time in program history. No other team in program history has ever accomplished that feat.
• UCM's 221 points and 88 goals are the most in a single season in program history.
There's No Place Like Home
• Dating back to the 2016 season, the Jennies are 26-0-0 at Jennies Field and have allowed just six goals in that span.
• The Jennies have outscored opponents 87-6 in goals at home since 2016, and allowed just four goals at home this season in 14 games.
• All-time at Jennies Field, UCM is 138-26-7 with a .828 winning percentage. Under Head Coach

Road Warriors
• On the road, the Jennies are still just as good as at home. In 10 regular season road games, the Jennies went 10-0-0.
