WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Nov. 21, 2017) - Eleven different players score in Central Missouri's 81-30 win against NAIA Evangel Tuesday afternoon. The game is countable for the Jennies and moves them to 4-1 on the season.
How It Happened
• The Jennies never trailed, leading wire to wire for the second time in three games.
• Central Missouri shot 51.6% from the floor, going 32-for-62 while holding the Crusaders to just 10-49 from the floor.
• The Jens also went 12-for-14 from the free throw line and hit five three pointers.
• UCM won the rebounding battle 40-30 and dished out 17 assists on 32 made field goals.
• The game was never in question as the Jennies took a quick 7-2 lead in the first three minutes of the game.Â
• Central Missouri poured it on in the second quarter, outscoring Evangel 25-3, the fewest points they've allowed in a quarter since women's basketball went to the four-quarter system before the start of the 2015-16 season.
• The starters didn't play long, as the Jennies cleared their bench, using all 13 who suited up. Everyone played at least eight minutes with 11 playing more than 10 minutes.

Megan Skaggs at the 7:15 mark of the second quarter put the Jennies up 30-10 and the rout was on. UCM scored 25 in the second quarter, their most of the game and allowed only three.

Peyton Taylor was the leading scorer with 11 points. She also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds.

Gigi McAtee scored in double-figures for the first time in her career, going 4-for-5 from the floor with two threes for 10 points.

• Central Missouri blocked nine shots a season-high. The last time they had nine blocks in a game was in March of 2014 against Fort Hays State.
