WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Oct. 6, 2017)-- Second-ranked Central Missouri Jennies Soccer (11-0-0, 4-0-0 MIAA) continues to play well this season with their 11th consecutive shutout Friday night over the Central Oklahoma Bronchos (5-5-1, 2-1-1 MIAA) at Jennies Field. The Jennies downed the Bronchos 3-0 to remain unbeaten.
How it Happened
• The Jennies scored all three goals in the first period to secure the win. In the first period the Jennies outshot the Bronchos11-6 overall and 8-2 in shots on goal.

Abby Rhodes scored the first two goals for UCM to establish the early lead. She scored goal No. 1 at 2:02 mark, taking the ball from midfield and getting to the inside the box and scoring into the left corner of the net.
• Rhodes' second goal came at a later point in the period in the 31st minute. This time she got the ball to the left center of the field and hit her shot from 20 yards out to give the Jennies a 2-0 lead.

Jada Scott added the third and final goal four minutes later in the 35th minute. She nailed a header thanks to a free kick from
Kayla Hamner on the left wing to score the goal and set the final score at 3-0.
• Despite not scoring in the second period the Jennies still applied pressure against the Bronchos taking 10 shots, but just getting two on goal. Defensively, UCM held UCO to seven shots in the second period with three of them on goal.
Jennies Stat Leaders
• Rhodes lead the way for the Jennies, scoring two goals. She was precise on her scoring as she only took two shots for the night with both being on goal. With her two goals on Friday, Rhodes now has nine on the season to lead the Jennies.
• Scott finished leading UCM in shots with five total and just one shot on goal. She has six goals on the season for UCM.

Kayla Hamner did not take any shots for the Jennies but notched her fourth assist to tie for the team lead.
• In net,
Ana Dilkes grabbed five saves on 13 shots faced to post her 11th consecutive shutout of the season.
• Defensively, the Jennies held the Bronchos to 13 shots overall and just five shots on goal in 90 minutes of action as they posted their 11th consecutive shutout.
For the Bronchos
• Katie Killion was the offensive leader for the Bronchos taking four shots overall with three of them being on goal. She was the only Broncho to get off more than one shot on goal against the Jennies defense.
• Goalkeeper Ally Salls picked up seven saves on 21 shots faced and allowed three goals, all in the first period.
News and Notes
• The Jennies pushed their streak of a goal scored in consecutive games to 44, which is an MIAA record.
• UCM now owns the MIAA record for consecutive shutouts with 11. They broke the previous record 10 set by Truman State during the 2000 season (9/23-10/28).
• UCM becomes the just the fourth team in NCAA Division II history to post at least 11 consecutive shutouts.
• Dilkes also set the MIAA record for consecutive goalkeeper shutouts, breaking the record set Emily Huyck of Truman State who had 10 straight during the 2000 season (9/23-10/28).

• The Jennies will be back in action this Sunday, Oct. 8, as they host the Northeastern State RiverHawks. NSU is 10-0 on the season overall and has a 4-0 mark in MIAA play. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Jennies Field.
