WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Oct. 15, 2017)-- Top-ranked Jennies Soccer extended their winning streak to 14 as they defeated the Washburn Ichabods (8-5-1, 4-3-0 MIAA) 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Jennies Field. The Jennies are undefeated at 14-0-0 this season with a 7-0-0 mark in MIAA action.

How It Happened
• The Jennies took 30 shots in the game with 10 coming on goal, while limiting the Ichabods to just four shots overall and one shot on goal.

• UCM's lead lasted for just over two minutes into the second period, as Emily Stauffer tied it up 1-1 at  the47:32 mark. She took a shot from the left wing that went right to Ana Dilkes, but the ball slipped between her hands and legs.
• The tie lasted just over seven minutes as Mikala Modiri retook the lead for the Jennies in the 55th minute. A deflected pass from the right wing set her up for quick hit from the left inside of the box to the left corner of net to give UCM the final lead, 2-1.

• This is the first game this season where Dilkes did not register a single save.
• The Jennies scored a season-low two goals in both wins this weekend. It's the first weekend this season where they scored less than five combined goals over two wins.
