HAYS, Kan. (Oct. 12, 2017) - Central Missouri Volleyball went down early to Fort Hays State, but came back for a 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-12) victory. The win is the Jennies fourth straight and moves them to 16-4 on the season and 7-1 in the MIAA.
How It Happened
• The Jennies held the Tigers to just a .082 attack percentage while hitting .221 themselves. The Jennies landed 59 kills and Fort Hays committed 27 attack errors.
• Central Missouri picked up nine blocks in the match along with six service aces.
• It was a wild opening set that saw () ties and () lead changes. Neither team held more than a two-point lead until the Tigers broke out scoring five straight to take a 20-16 lead. The Jens were able to get to within one, 22-21, but Fort Hays State scored the final three points to get ahead early, 25-22.
• After the Jennies went on top 4-3 in set two, they never trailed again, piling on to their lead, eventually going up by 10, 22-12, and winning by that margin, 25-22.
• Set three was another tight one through, which the Tigers led for the majority of. Central Missouri finally broke through for their first lead of the set, 20-19. After the Tigers retied it at 20, UCM scored the final points to take a 2-1 lead in the match. .
• The fourth and final set was all Jennies. They took a commanding 9-3 lead early and were able to cruise to their largest win, 25-12.

Ally Offerdahl passed out 48 assists, averaging 12 assists per set. She also finished with 16 digs.

• Fisher scored 19.5 points. In addition to her 12 kills, she had five aces and five total blocks.

• Magan Alexander led the team with 14 kills and Sydney Dixon added 12.
• Amirah Bentley picked up 32 assists and seven digs.
