WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Sept. 18, 2016)-- The third ranked Central Missouri Jennies improve to 5-0 after shutting out Northwest Missouri State Sunday afternoon at Jennies Field. UCM is now 2-0 at home this season.

Mikala Modiri scored the only goal of the match and gamewinner for UCM in the 12th minute. In net, junior keeper
Ana Dilkes collected two saves picked up her fifth win of the season.
For her career, Dilkes has 47 wins and is now the program leader passing Carrie Payne (1998-01) who was all-time leader at 46. Dilkes also picked picked up her fifth straight shutout win and has 31 for her career.Â
The Jennies got on the board early with Modiri firing a shot from the left side of the box off an assist from
Jada Scott. Modiri's goal is her first of the season and Scott now has two assists on the season.Â
Defensively, the Jennies allowed just seven total shots and two shots on goal. For the season, UCM has shutout all five opponents they have faced, a first in program history. The Jennies are 5-0 for the third time in program history and it is the second straight season they have gone 5-0.Â
The Jennies will hit the road again this week against a pair of MIAA teams. They will travel to Missouri Western on Friday, Sept. 23, then will begin conference play on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Northwest Missouri State.
