Mules Wrestling Heads South for a Pair of Duals

Dual Notes

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Mules Wrestling team begins to wind down the regular season with a pair of back-to-back duals when they face Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Arkansas Saturday at 10 a.m., then head to Edmond, Oklahoma to a face MIAA foe Central Oklahoma at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

• The Mules look will look to stop their three-dual losing streak when they travel to Super Region III foe Ouachita Baptist on Saturday.
• Both Central Missouri and Ouachita Baptist will sport a young lineup when these to teams square off.
• Central Oklahoma has won their last four duals, including a 24-15 victory over No. 3 Maryville, while Ouachita Baptist has lost their last three duals.
• Ouachita Baptist will be the final Super Region III opponent of the season for the Mules before the regional tournament on Feb. 27.
Archie Williams has won six of his last seven matches, including winning all four matches in Central Missouri's last four duals. During his win streak, Williams has reestablished himself as the No. 2 174 pound wrestler in the region.

Central Missouri vs. Ouachita Baptist: 1-4 
The Mules' lone win in the series came during the 2010-11 season when Central Missouri took down the Tigers 33-9 at home.
Central Missouri vs. Central Oklahoma: 0-36
The closest the Mules have come to winning a dual against the Bronchos was a 21-15 loss during the 2007-08 season.
