WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Jennies jumped to the top of the latest NSCAA poll for the first time in program history. The No. 1 ranking came after UCM shutout Lindenwood 7-0, and defeated Northwest Missouri 6-1 in week three of the season. In addition to the No. 1 ranking, Ana Dilkes was named the MIAA Goalkeeper of the Week for her performance against Lindenwood and Northwest Missouri.

• UCM will begin MIAA play this week as they host the Emporia State Hornets on Friday evening, and the Washburn Ichabods Sunday afternoon.

Series History
Emporia: UCM leads 19-3-2
The Jennies have won 13 of the last 14 games between the two teams, the only non-UCM win came in 2013 when the teams tied 0-0. UCM has outscored Emporia 40-4 over that span. The Hornets have only won once in Warrensburg in the series' history, a 3-1 victory in 2004.

Washburn: UCM leads 15-5-1
The Jens have won the previous seven games in the series, and 10 of the last 11. The last time the Ichabods won in Warrensburg was a 1-0 victory in 2006. This game will be the first game played in Warrensburg in the series since 2012, when the Jennies won 3-1. 

Scouting the Competition
Emporia State
• Emporia State is 2-1-0 when playing on the road this season with wins against Wayland Baptist and Washburn, and a loss to Texas A&M- Commerce. Both of the road wins were shutouts.
• The Hornets are coming off of a 3-2 loss to Fort Hays State at home.
• Emporia State is led by Amelie Heun, who leads the MIAA in goals with seven, and points with 15. Heun is tied for 10th in NCAA Division II in goals as well.
• ESU's goalkeeper Yadiri Rivera is fourth in the MIAA in saves with 27. 
• The only other time these two teams met to open MIAA play was in 2006 when the Jennies won 4-1.
• Emporia has outscored their opponents 14-6 this season.
• The Hornets as a team rank third in goals and fifth in goals allowed in the MIAA.
                                             
Washburn
• The Ichabods are 0-0-1 on the road this season. Washburn tied Rockhurst 0-0 in their only road game of the season.
• Washburn is coming off of a 3-1 victory over Nebraska-Kearney which snapped a 27-game winless streak dating back to Oct. 25, 2013.
• All five goals scored by Washburn have come from different players.
• Cadence Bourne and Paige Swanson lead the team in points with three each.
• Goalkeeper Kaitlin Minnich has been in goal for all 580 minutes of the season so far. She is second in the MIAA in saves with 32, and has recorded two shutouts. As a team, Washburn is third in the MIAA in saves.
• Washburn has been outscored by their opponents 8-5 this season.
• Washburn is last in the MIAA in shots taken with 49.
• The Ichabods went 0-13-1 in conference play last season.

Goals, Goals and More Goals
• UCM is tied for first in total goals in NCAA Division II with 29.
Julie Ireland is tied for 16th in goals with six, and Mikala Modiri is tied for 39th in goals with five in NCAA Division II.

Defense Wins Championships
• Goalkeeper Ana Dilkes was named the MIAA Goalkeeper of the week for her performance against Lindenwood and Northwest Missouri. She recoreded seven saves and did not allow a goal while the Jennies went 2-0. The award is her fourth of her career.
• Dilkes' .963 save percentage is tops in the MIAA, and third-best in NCAA Division II.  Her 0.177 goals against average is also tops in the MIAA and ranks fourth in NCAA Division II.
• The Jens rank first in the MIAA in goals against average, and eighth in the NCAA with .33 goals allowed per game.

Current Streaks
• The Jens have won 17-straight regular season games, and have not lost in their last 27 regular season games going 26-0-1 in that stretch.
• UCM has scored at least one goal in 30-straight games dating back to September 29, 2013 where they tied Emporia State 0-0. 

The Century Club
• Friday night's victory over Lindenwood was the Jennies 100th victory at Jennies Field.
