WARRENSBURG, Mo. - Central Missouri Jennies Basketball earned their first win of the season in their home opener against William Jewell. The Jens rode a 13-point halftime lead all the way to the finish, defeating the Cardinals 80-70 to move to 1-2 on the young season.

Playing in her first game of the season, senior Shelby Winkelmann led the Jennies with 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting and was a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe, setting a new career-high for most made free throws without a miss.
