Jennies finish sixth, Mules 36th at NCAA Track & Field Championships

ALLENDALE, Mich. --
The Central Missouri Jennies added two more All-America performances on Saturday and finished sixth at the NCAA Championships hosted by Grand Valley State. The Mules narrowly missed another All-America nod and finished in 36th for the championships.

Mary Riley finished in third place in the javelin with a throw of 163-0 to earn the second All-America honor of her career. Madison Smith earned her second All-America honor of the weekend when she tied for seventh in the high jump at 5-7.

Nikki Douglas earned the first All-America honor of her career with a third place finish in the women's 400m hurdles in a time of 59.33.

Erin Alewine finished in 14th in the high jump with a mark of 5-5. Chris Swearingin also just missed out on All-America honors with a 15th place finish in the men's javelin with a throw of 197-6.

Heavin Warner was 17th in the women's shot put with a mark of 45-2.25.
