Track finishes with five provisionals at Emporia State Relays

The Central Missouri Mules finished third at the Emporia Relays with 85.33 points, while the Jennies were fifth with 73 points. The team had several placewinners, and five provisional marks.
 
Meelis Siimson was 1st in long jump, with a provisional mark at 24' 8.5''. Teammate George Charalambous and Erin Alewine were sixth at 22' 9.25'' and 18' 5.75'', respectively. Brooke Swearingin was first in the seeded discus, with a provisional mark at 151' 8.25''. Haley Heuer and Jacob Prindle were eighth at 136' 10'' and 156' 5'', respectively. Prindle was also sixth in hammer throw (173' 3.75'').

Heavin Warner had a provisional mark in hammer throw, with a second place finish at 179' 9.25''. Warner also placed seventh in shot put (42' 9.5''). Mary Riley took first in the javelin, at 163' 5'', earning a provisional mark. Chris Swearingin was fifth on the men's side (208' 11''). Madison Smith was second in 100m hurdles, with a provisional mark at 14.13. 
 
Joseph Holland was second in the 110m hurdles at 14.70, while Hassan Ilyas was sixth at 14.99. Marquis Jones was fourth in the 100m dash (10.83), and eighth in the 200m dash (22.15). Austin Gott placed eighth in the 3000m run at 9:02.75.

Megan Glamann finished second in the 1500m run at 4:48.32. Kailey Fuchs had a fifth place finish in the 400m dash at 58.37. Cole Davis was fifth in the 800m run at 1:56.06. Brad Banowetz took eighth in the 400m hurdles at 56.26. Rachel Mincemeyer was sixth in pole vault at 10' 6''.
 
The team will travel back to Emporia next week for the Emporia State Multis on April 10 and 11.
