San Angelo, Texas -- UCM Track and Field finished the second day of the ASU Spring Break Multi on Saturday with five top ten placers.
Madison Smith finished 2nd in the heptathlon, while
Katie Cassidy was 9th.

Hassan Ilyas and
Bryan Dougherty were 3rd, 6th, and 10th in the decathlon, respectively.
Smith's best was 18'0.5'' in the long jump, and she threw 99'6'' in the javelin. She ran a 2:29.23 800m run, finishing with 5099 points. Cassidy finished with 4292 points. She had a 16'6'' jump in the long jump, and her best throw was 74'10'' in the javelin. She ran a 2:21.55 800m run.
Seitz finished at 6780 points. He finished the 110m hurdles in 16.8, and ran a 4:50.20 1500m run. In the field events, he had a 126' 6'' throw in the discus, and 178' in the javelin. He also finished at 13' 7'' in the pole vault. Ilyas had 6547 points, after finishing the 110m hurdles at 15.10, and the 1500m run at 4:44.44. He had a 110'2'' throw in the discus, and a 122'5'' throw in the javelin. His highest vault was at 13'7''. The final top ten placer was Dougherty with 6216 points. He threw 126'10'' in the discus, and 135'9'' in the javelin. His best vault was at 12'11''. Dougherty finished the 110m hurdles in 15.61, and the 1500m run at 5:03.23.
