The Jennies' (11-0-1, 8-0-0 MIAA) first score was aided by a cross near the goalie box that was deflected into the net off the Bearcats.
Sophomore
Abby Rhodes picked up her second goal of 2014 in the 53rd minute from about 10 yards out on an assist from
Megan Woolley, pushing UCM's lead to 2-0. The assist was Woolley's second on the season.
Freshman goalkeeper
Ana Dilkes improved to 11-0-1 this season with a season-high 10 saves. The shutout was Dilkes' seventh in 2014.
The Jennies were outshot by SBU, 23-11, the first time an opponent outshot UCM in a match this season.
Central Missouri has come out on top against SBU in 11 of the past 12 meetings.
The Jennies will look to extend their win streak to double-digits on Friday, October 17 at Central Oklahoma for a 4 p.m. first kick.
