(ST. CHARLES, Mo.) – The number 12 University of Central Missouri Jennies (13-1-0) scored early and often, rolling to a 4-0 victory over future MIAA conference member Lindenwood University (8-4-2) Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Missouri.
The Jennies started the scoring frenzy quick, just nine minutes into the match,

Carly Stanley (Desoto, Kan.) cutting to the goal and passed her the ball. Stanley controlled the pass and found the back of the net to put the Jennies up 1-0. Central Missouri didn't take long to increase its lead. In the 23

Kayla Shain (Olathe, Kan.) fed
Nicki Wisnasky (Godfrey, Ill.) a pass and Wisnasky guided the ball past Lindenwood goalie Jade Davis to make it 2-0 Central Missouri. Wisnasky wasn't done though, just eight minutes later, in the 31
st minute,
Kelsie Hanson (Olathe, Kan.) corralled the ball and passed it to Wisnasky, who hammered it into the net for her second goal of the match, increasing the Central Missouri lead to 3-0 going into half-time.
The Jennies outshot the Lions 9-1 in the first half, with a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The second stanza began swiftly for Central Missouri. In the 48
th minute, a mere three minutes into the half,
Alyssa Rhodes (Olathe, Kan.) netted the Jennies fourth goal of the day, which proved to be the final goal of the match, as neither team scored after that.
For the match, Central Missouri controlled the offense with an 18-3 shot advantage over Lindenwood, including a decisive 7-0 lead in corner kicks. The Jennies defense held Lindenwood to only three shots, with just one being on-target. Jennies starting goalkeeper

Rhodes continues to lead the Jennies in scoring this season, now with 10 goals while Wisnasky picks up goals six and seven of the season. Stanley increases her goal count to four for 2011.
For assists, Shain picks up her sixth on the season while Lackey and Hanson each have two.
Central Missouri returns home this week for two MIAA matches. First up will be a showdown with the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats Thursday at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg. First kick is set for 7 p.m.
