Brandon Benvenuti is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with Mules Wrestling after spending the last four years at Grand View University, one as a wrestler and the other three as an assistant coach. Benvenuti was also the head coach of Viking Wrestling Club while at Grand View.
Benvenuti had an impressive career on the mat. He earned All-American status for the fourth time by placing sixth at the 2014 NAIA National Championships. Before attending at Grand View, Benvenuti finished 4th in the nation while attending Lindenwood University. He aslo placed 2nd and 4th while competing at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif.
The Sacramento, Calif. native earned a bachelor of the arts degree from Grand View. He currently is working on his master's in Sports Management.
