2023: Appeared in 118 sets in all 33 matches for the Jens as a freshman being named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American... Was an AVCA All-Central Region Honorable Mention and First Team All-MIAA selection leading the team with 12 solo blocks ranking second on the team in total blocks (119, ranked second in the MIAA), kills (307), and points (373.5)... Recorded double-digit kills in 15 matches including a season-best 16 kills twice against Rockhurst (Sept. 19) and Central Oklahoma (Sept. 29)... Had her first career double-double performance against Missouri Western (Oct. 17) with 11 kills on 17 swings (.529 attack percentage) and 10 blocks... Ended the season with the third highest attack percentage on the team (.295) which was fifth best in the MIAA. 

In High School: A 2022 First Team All-Sunflower League selection for head coach Susan Specht and the Cougars... Engel helped Shawnee Mission Northwest to three sub state championships... Engel achieved Second Team All-State and All-State Tournament Team honors in 2021... Engel earned Honor Roll accolades for her work in the classroom and was a member of the Quill & Scroll International Honor Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Chris and Joy Engel... Majoring in engineering.
