Amanda Dalbey is in her second season as the Jennies Volleyball Graduate Assistant. She comes to Warrensburg after playing four years at MIAA foe Missouri Western, helping the Griffons to their first ever MIAA regular season championship in 2017. The Griffons also advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 17 years, winning their first ever NCAA Division II Regional game in the quarterfinal round.
Dalbey played in all 36 matches in 2017, including making 22 starts and was in all 133 sets as a libero/defensive specialist. She finished third on the team with a career-high 321 digs. She was also second on the team with 26 service aces. For the season, she averaged 2.41 digs per set and carried a 95% serve reception.
In 2017, Dalbey finished 14 matches with double-digit digs, including a season-best 19 in four sets against West Florida. She also upped her average in the NCAA Tournament with 3.13 digs per set in two matches.
For her career, Dalbey totaled 708 digs in 85 matches played. She landed 51 service aces and passed out 72 assists with 10 kills. She also made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll all four years at Missouri Western. She graduated with a degree in Business Management and Finance.
