Outdoor: Recorded a personal-best throw of 40-5.5 (12.33m) in the shot put at the Emporia State Relays (March 27)... Placed ninth at the ESU Midwest Classic with a mark of 38-2 (11.63m)... High School: A graduate of McPherson High School in McPherson, Kan. ... Recorded the third-best shot put mark in school history (39-5.25) and the second-best discus mark (108-1) for the Bullpups.
