Biography

2016-17: (Indoor): Redshirted during the indoor-season, but ran the short sprints at the UCM home meets, coming away with a top-time of 7.66 in the 60m hurdles. (Outdoor): Ran at the ESU Relays before getting injured … Ran 11.99 for 100m, fourth all-time at UCM and 24.57 for 200m, which is also fourth in UCM history … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award.

At Austin Peay: Was the OVC Champion in 2016 in the indoor 55m dash and second in the 200m dash … Was a member of the conference championship 4x400m relay and 4x100m relay teams during the 2016 outdoor season … Finished in third place in the OVC in the 100m dash and fourth in the 200m dash outdoors in 2016 … Set the Governor’s school record in the 55m, 60m, and 200m dashes indoors.

In High School: Ran two years at Northwest High School in Eureka, Calif. … Was the California State champion in the 400m dash in 2012 and took fourth in the 200m dash and seventh in the 100m dash … All-State for 200m in 2011 finishing in sixth place … Left as the school record holder in the 400m having run 55.89 … Also played basketball where she was All-District and All-Conference all four years and the team MVP from 2008-2012.

Personal: Daughter of Cornelius Dewayne Ross and Kimberlee Ann Ross … Majoring in Psychology … Father, Cornelius, played Arena League Football for the Pittsburg Gladiators and was named the Arena Bowl III Iron Man of the Game.
