Christopher Goodwin enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach leading the Mules and Jennies jumpers. In his first season as a graduate assistant, Goodwin coached four All-Americans and 10 new UCM top-10 all-time performances. As an athlete, Goodwin became UCM’s first National Champion in the long jump with a personal record jump of 7.93m (26ft 0.25in) at the 2022 Division II Outdoor National Championships setting the school record in the process.
Goodwin finished his athletic career at UCM with four career All-American Awards in the long jump, an individual conference championship, seven All-MIAA selections in the long jump, triple jump and the 4x100 relay as a member of two MIAA Championship winning teams. Goodwin completed his undergraduate degree at UCM with a bachelor’s in Secondary Education Mathematics and is now pursuing his master’s degree in Kinesiology.Â
