Maddi Moon

Maddi Moon enters her third season as an assistant coach with Central Missouri in 2019. Prior to joining the Jennies in 2017, she spent the 2016 season as the assistant coach at Missouri Southern.

In her first season as the assistant coach, she helped guide the Jennies to a perfect 26-0 record en route to the program's first ever National Championship. She helped the Jens win their eighth straight MIAA Regular Season Championship, fourth straight MIAA Tournament Championship, and fourth straight Central Region title. She was named as a member of the United Soccer Coaches National Coaching Staff of the Year and was a member of the United Soccer Coaches Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

The 2018 season was another successful for Moon in the Jens. She helped UCM to their fifth straight Regional Championship as the Jennies went 19-5-1.

 In 2019 Moon helped lead the Jennies to another MIAA Regular season championship, along with an appearance in the sweet 16. 

Moon works closely with the Jennies attacking group, who are one of the most dominant offensives in the nation. In addition to her work with the team on the field, Moon serves as the team's operations coordinator, handling team travel arrangements, equipment orders and camp director. She also plays a large role in recruiting future Jennies, and scouting opponents.

She played collegiately at the University of Central Arkansas for the Bears.  Following her playing career at Central Arkansas, Moon played professionally with Melbourne Victory in the 2015-2016 W-league season.

Moon graduated in 2015 from Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Marketing and earned her Master of Education with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from the University of Missouri in 2016.

Moon is married to former MSSU baseball player and Kansas City Royals minor leaguer, Logan Moon.
