2012-13: Started in all 23 games played ... led the MIAA in scoring with 19.7 points per game ... turned in eight double-doubles, second-most to Nicole Caddell’s 13 ... reached the 20-point plateau in four of first five games of season ... knocked down at least one three-point shot in first seven contests, including 3-for-3 in first game against Dixie State ... her 28 points in her season debut against Dixie State were a team-high ... converted a season-best and team-high 13-of-13 free throws in win over Southwest Baptist on Jan. 2 ... blocked five shots in win over Truman State on Feb. 27.
At Trinity Valley: Flax was an All-American member of the 2011-12 NJCAA Division I national championship team ... Trinity Valley went undefeated on their way to the title, with a 36-0 record ... named to the All-NJCCA Region XIV team, as well as the all-conference team ... the second-leading scorer for Trinity Valley, Flax averaged 16.7 points per gamg ... also second-leading rebounder, with 7.3 boards per game ... shot 53.5% from the field ... Redshirted during the 2009-10 season as a freshman at Oklahoma State.
In High School: A McDonald's All-American nominee, Flax was named to the all-district team during all four years of high school ... named a TGCA All-State selection after junior and senior seasons ... finished her career at Haltom HS as the all-time leading scorer, with 2.997 points ... earned the district's offensive MVP award after her freshman season ... averaged 22 points per game, nine rebounds, and five assists during her high school career ... also competed in track and field, reaching the state finals in the shot put in her senior year ... made appearances at the East vs. West, TGCA, and TABC High School All-Star Games.
