Lindsey Holt is in her first season as an assistant coach for Jennies basketball. 

Holt arrived in Warrensburg after serving as an assistant coach at Northwest Missouri State for two seasons. 

With Holt on the bench, the women’s basketball program at Northwest qualified for their first MIAA tournament since 2013, winning its first tournament game since 2011. Holt aided in the development of 16 MIAA Academic Award recipients in 2020-2021, as well as the 2021 MIAA Freshman of the year, Molly Hartnett.  

Holt served as the program’s operations specialist at NWMSU. Her other duties included facilitating youth camp, organizing and presenting opponent scouting reports, coordinating recruit visits and team travel, community engagements, social media, skill development and more.

She was an MIAA Scholar Athlete at Northwest Missouri State University before graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education in 2016. 

After teaching and coaching at the high school and AAU levels for two years post-graduation, Holt earned her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2019. She served as a graduate assistant coach at Doane University in Crete, Neb., for the 2018-2019 season.
