As a Sophomore (2017-18): Appeared in all 30 games for Central Missouri...Averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.6 steals...Led the Mules in assists with 97...He was second on the team in Three-Point Field Goals with .371...Spellman scored his game high of 15 points in a game against Central Oklahoma..Had a season high of 7 rebounds and 7 assist against Newman. 

Before UCM: Transferred from Division I Northern Kentucky, and sat out the second semester in compliance with NCAA rules ... Appeared in 11 games for the Norse, including an eight-point, five-rebound effort at Illinois.

In High School: Played at Lee's Summit High School and in 2016 was the recipient of the DiRenna Award, presented annually by the Greater Kansas City Basketball Coaches Association to the best boys basketball player in the Kansas City area ... Led the Tigers to the Final 4 while averaging 19.5 points and 3.9 assists per game.
