Alex Gochenour enters her second year as a UCM Track and Field Graduate Assistant in 2019-20. Gochenour works primarily with the Mules and Jennies jumpers and hurdlers.
In her first year, Gochenour oversaw nine Mules jumpers compete at the NCAA National Championship meet. She also saw 12 additions to the UCM all-time top-10 list in the high jump, long jump and triple jumps for the Mules and Jennies.
Gochenour is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. She is a three-time All-American in the multi-events. She's competed in the US Olympic Trials finishing 13th in the heptathlon in 2016 and was fourth at the USA National Championships in 2017, scoring 6129 points.
