As a Freshman: Did not compete in any events during the 2016-17 season.

In High School: Was a four-time First Team All-Conference and All-District selection for head coach Guy Albert at Warrensburg High School ... was also an MSHSAA All-State honoree ... helped his team to four conference and district championships and three appearances in the MSHSAA State Tournament ... was also a three-time All-Conference honoree in cross country.
