Cross Country: Competed in five meets for the Mules as a freshman... Ran a season-best 8k at the MIAA Cross Country Championships (Nov. 5) in 23:56.7 finishing in fourth place... Had a 13th place finish at the Central Region Cross Country Championships (Nov. 19) with a time of 29:41.8... Finished in fourth place at the SBU Bearcat Open (Oct. 21) with a time of 26:00.3. 

Indoor Track: Finished first in the 3k at the Crimson & Gold Invitational (Dec. 10) with a time of 8:29.03... Ran a 4:23.05 mile at the UCM Invite (Jan. 20) taking first place... Had a season-best 3k at the Bearcat Invite (Feb. 2) with a time of 8:27.60 taking second place...  Ran an 8:29.25 3k at the MIAA Championships (Feb. 24) taking ninth place.

Outdoor Track: Competed in six meets for the Mules... Had a second place finish in the 800m run at the David Suenram Gorilla Classic (April 8) with a time of 1:51.75... Placed second in the 1500m at the UCM Mule Relays (April 14) in 3:53.43... Recorded a trio of top-five finishes at the MIAA Championships (May 5) including a second place finish in the 800m finals scoring eight points with a tme of 1:52.13... Ran the 1500m at the MIAA Championships (May 5) in 3:50.39 placing fifth. 

Personal: Son of Pius Mitei and Hellen Cheruiyot... Majoring in Nursing.
